In line with our aim of helping the Japanese community publish more, we have recently published a book called 英語のバカヤロー! ~「英語の壁」に挑んだ12人の日本人~— literally translated as "English idiot! I hate you –- 12 Japanese people who tackled the English language block."
It has just been introduced on
Amazon.
The book is about 12 top researchers in Japan (including Nobel prize candidates Shuji Nakamura (inventor of the blue diode), Takeshi Yoro, Chizuko Ueno, and Heizo Takenaka) who overcame the English language barrier to publish in international journals and became fluent English speakers. It also includes some quips about the author’s (Yuko Furuya) early days working in Crimson Interactive.
