What made you come to India?

India just happened. I came here for a vacation and happened to apply to get to know about Crimson during my stay here. I got the job and stayed on. Honestly, India is much better than what I had expected. It’s exciting and progressive. I have met so many people here who clearly break the stereotypical image that India has in the eyes of outsiders. In fact, I am extremely glad that I came here. I love the environment, the variety that this country offers, and the opportunity to learn something new and interesting. India is a colorful country and I wish to be associated with it for a really long time.

How did Crimson happen?

Once I returned from my holiday, I applied to Crimson for a job opportunity. The application and interview procedure was extremely smooth. I was personally interviewed by Crimson Japan CEO. Meeting her made me doubly sure that I wanted to be a part of this organization. In Japan, young companies are considered a more viable place to work with than mature companies. You see, Japan values a creative thought process, and to be honest, so does Crimson. I have been here for some time now and every day presents a new challenge.

What is your greatest attraction to work here at Crimson?

The atmosphere. I function best with a little bit of work pressure. Actually, the only pressure here is to excel. I like that. It helps me grow professionally. Also, on the personal front, there is a lot to experience. The multicultural environment that this company offers is a unique experience. People are achievers here. They have seen immense success in a short period of time and rightly so. Hard work is a virtue at Crimson. Also, the best part is that everybody is very modest. No matter how much they have achieved, they will always remain humble. A great place to work. I will definitely recommend it to more people back home. But first, I want my fair share of the truly holistic Crimson experience. Crimson is now like family. I love being here.

how has crimson contributed to your growth as an individual?

That is a very interesting question. Crimson has contributed to my growth on two levels: professional and personal. At the professional level, working in Crimson has been a truly learning experience. Being a member of the client servicing team, it is challenging to cater to a global mindset. But it is a great learning experience. There are times when I find myself in a fix when deciding about what measures to take to ensure that the highest quality of service is delivered to a client. I am happy to say that I have always found ready help and advice from my experienced co-workers during these times. On a personal level, I have learnt so much about Indian culture. It is exciting to get to know people, interact with them, both personally and professionally, and be involved in their festivals. The culture is as colorful as it is engaging. I strongly recommend everyone to spend at least some time in India, and also at Crimson to truly experience the life and times of the new generation. They are an optimistic lot. Probably, that is why they progress with such great speed.
